Description

This bridge is broken when first encountered yet it can be repaired from the south end.

How to get there

• The north of the bridge can be accessed from stairs:
  • south-west of the Guardroom closed by a black door optionally unlocked by a skeleton key.
  • west of the door unlocked by an alcove riddle.
• The south of the bridge can be accessed from stairs north-west from an alcove that contains a moonstone necklace.

Interests

• If accessed from the south, the party can reactivate the mechanism by combining 2 common enough items:
  • A club, one of which can be retrieved from orcs hiding in a closed room.
  • A rope, which is retained when applied and which can also be found on a especially deadly creature in the Moria.
• The repaired bridge is a shortcut allowing the party to bypass combinations of up/down stairs and corridors.
