Food

Dragon Heart	Adult Dragons	Highest.	+30 Vitality.
Gorgonzola	Bags. Alcoves.	High.	Say cheeze!
Skullseeds	Sewers.	Very low.	Grow into snapdragons in moist environments. While consumable, Skullseeds are more valuable for use in spells. Leave Skullseeds in Sewers to ensure a good supply of Snapdragons.
Snapdragon	Sewers. Randomly produced by a dream.	Lowest.	Snapdragons randomly boost all stats when consumed, although initially one or more stats may actually decrease(consume more to offset this). This can be very helpful in fighting strong monsters. Through the repeated consumption of several Snapdragons, it is possible to boost all stats to 170! Snapdragons produce Skullseeds at the end of their life cycle.
Spitter Berry	Spitter Trees.	Medium.	Grow into Spitter trees on green squares and drains.
Steak	Rats. Hellhounds. Dragons.	Very high.	Fur rags can be traded at the Fur Trader for steaks.
Stone Mushroom	Temple. Alcoves. Bags.	Low.	Magic mushrooms for your psychedelic enjoyment! A Stone mushroom left on a floor will produce a new mushroom and dead mushroom spores. (This takes a while though.)

Beverages

A Guide to Fine Wines and Liqueurs

• When drunk, all Sar Wines produce the text message: "You feel dizzy and clumsy."
• In general, most Sar Wines decrease either Wisdom, Dexterity.
  • Sometimes one or the other.
  • Sometimes both.
  • Sometimes not at all.
• As in real life, being drunk acts as if your party is over-burdened or slowed.
  • Highly intoxicated champions may completely inhibit movement for an instant!
• Sar Wines may or may not increase water levels.
• Guild Leaders and high level Champions may be affected differently than lower level Champions.
• Drinking a Sar Wine consumes the flask.

The increase is highly random, so you might want to save before using and re-loading if you don't like the result. It is possible to get +5 to all stats with a (MON) level potion. Vinegars

• Vinegars are poisonsous and decrease Water Levels when consumed.
• Are not stored in flasks. (Destroyed in consumtion)
• Used for the The_Flask_Quest.
• Used in the Alchemical Oven.

Ven Eggs

• All Ven Eggs Produce a poison cloud when thrown. The cloud's size is proportional to the egg's strength (See (OH VEN) spell).

Compass	-	What is a compass good for? It tells you the direction you are looking at if you examine it. You can use it with the "find north" (YA KATH) spell. You can use it with the "Treasure Detection" (OH IR ROS) spell. Are all compasses the same? No, there are two unique ones that have additional special properties. The unique Compass "Learning Advisor" displays special texts which help you to identify the dungeon level you are on. The unique Compass "Sparkling Seeds" produces Plasma when in a hand. Where can I find a Compass? Here, for example. It is highly recommend getting "Learning Advisor" from The Emerald Shop.
(MON) Dead Blast Spore	throw	Dead Blast Spores (brown) do not explode when thrown. A dead Blast Spore can be converted into a regular Blast Spore with the (FUL GOR RA) spell. (See the spell entry in Non-aligned spells for more information.)
Rock (Glowing Stone)	throw punch light	Use in the Mines for light. Becomes a normal rock when all charges are expended. Normal rocks will not have the "light" action.
Ice Winds	freeze	Freeze life. (long) Equivalent to the Dungeon Master green box.
