Conflux/Spells

Many of the spells in Conflux have been renamed and use different runes than you have become accustomed to. Moreover, their behaviour has become much more complex and may do different things depending on the circumstances. Some cannot be cast until you find the scroll that tells you how to cast the spell. Some may require that you possess special objects. Some may work differently for different characters. Spells are definitly going to be new territory if you just came from playing Dungeon Master.

Wizard spells

DESGORDAIN (DES GOR DAIN) -
  • Open Door.
    • Casting at LO (LO) level is sufficient.
DESIRRA (DES IR RA) -
  • "Sunlight."
    • Long magical light.
FUL (FUL) -
  • Magical Light.
FULBROSAR (FUL BRO SAR)
  • Full set of special armour worn.
  • "Awake the Spirit of Armours."
    • Activates the armour's unique ability.
      • Darc Armor: No spellcasting with full armour. (Fixed in WIP004.)
      • Dragon Armor: Fireball in all directions.
        • Don't cast near walls!
      • Holy Armor: Heals entire Party.
    • The maximum power level a caster can use is one plus the casters level.
      • An UM (UM) Master wizard can cast ONFULBROSAR (ON FUL BRO SAR).

  • "Exploding Fire." (Locked)
    • Fireball.
FULVEN (FUL VEN)
  • KATH Vinegar in hand.
  • Cursed Torch in hand.
  • "Creates KATH Bomb." (Locked)
OHBROROS (OH BRO ROS) -
  • "Infrared Vision."
    • Magic Footprints.
    • See (briefly) in the dark.
  • Items having similar effects and interfering with this spell:
    • Wearing an Eye on the head.
    • Wearing the special Elven Boots "Bloody Trail."
OHEWSAR (OH EW SAR) -
  • "Invisibility".

  • Poison Cloud.
VI (VI)
  • Empty flask in hand.
  • UM (UM) Master Wizard.
  • "Summons Lesser Water Elemental."
    • Produces water in Flask in any hand.
YAVEN (YA VEN) -
  • Poison Blob.
ZOEW (ZO EW) -
  • "Banish Summoned Elementals."
  • Cerberus in hand
  • Makes a Cerberus fiery.
ZOVEN (ZO VEN) -
  • Poison Bolt.

    • Mainly used by Creatures.
YAEWDAIN (YA EW DAIN) -
  • "Clairvoyance."
    • See through walls.
ZOBRONETA (ZO BRO NETA)
  • Skullseeds in hand.
ZOKATHRA (ZO KATH RA) -
  • Generates a Plasma.
    • Appears in hand or on the floor if no hand is free.

  • MON (MON) Potion.
  • Increases Stamina.
YABRO (YA BRO)
  • "SERUM."
    • VEN (VEN) rune on flask.
  • Cures all levels of poisoning even at LO (LO) level.
VIGOR (VI GOR)
  • "ICHOR."
    • VI (VI) rune on flask.
  • Cures sickness. (Random factor)
  • Heals wounds.
  • Restores Health Level.
VIIRKU (VI IR KU)
  • KU (KU) Potion.
  • Increases Strength.
VIIRROS (VI IR ROS)
  • ROS (ROS) Potion.
  • Increases Dexterity.
VIIRDAIN (VI IR DAIN)
  • Dane Potion.
    • DAIN (DAIN) rune on flask.
  • Increases Wisdom.
VIIRNETA (VI IR NETA)
  • NETA (NETA) Potion.
  • Increases Vitality.
DESKATHRA (DES KATH RA)
  • EE (EE) Potion.
    • BRO (BRO) rune on flask.
    • "Fluid of Virtus."
  • Restores Mana Level.
DESBROKU (DES BRO KU)
  • YA (YA) Elixir.
    • "Heroism Brewage."
  • Creates a Monster Shield around the Champion when consumed.
    • See also "Stoneskin" below.

ZO (ZO)
  • Item in inventory.
  • Curse an item at random in the Champion's inventory.
YAGORROS (YA GOR ROS)
  • Empty Bag in hand.
  • "Mischievous Bag."
    • Creates an item (on the floor, not in the bag):
      • LO (LO): Nothing.
      • UM (UM): Ashes.
      • ON (ON): Snapdragon.
      • EE (EE): Chalcedony.
      • PAL (PAL): Rope.
      • MON (MON): Dying torch.
YAKATH (YA KATH)
  • Compass in hand.
  • "Find North."
    • Rotates the party northwards.
    • Somewhat random.
DESEWDAIN (DES EW DAIN)
  • Any coin in hand.
  • Must be cast next to a wall.
  • "Anchor."
    • Creates a return point for teleport.
FULGORRA (FUL GOR RA)
  • Dead Blast Spore (brown) in hand.
  • "Energize Dead Spores." (Locked)
    • The power level used in casting this spell determines the power of the re-enegized Blast Spore.
    • MONFULGORRA (MON FUL GOR RA) creates a MON (MON) Blast Spore from a dead Blast Spore.
    • LOFULGORRA (LO FUL GOR RA) will produce a LO (LO) Blast Spore even from a MON (MON) Dead Blast Spore.
ZOEWNETA (ZO EW NETA)
  • Skullseeds in hand.
  • "Holds back Vecna's minions." (Locked)
ZOVENSAR (ZO VEN SAR) -
  • "Vampiric Starvation." (Locked)

    • Found on Nabi.
    • Only works when cast at MON (MON) level?

  • Alex Ander in your party.
  • "Speed." (Locked)
    • Found on Alex Ander.

  • Teleport scroll in hand.
  • Activate Teleport Scroll.
    • See "Anchor" spell.
    • Using this spell without an "Anchor" will teleport you to Aquantana.
OHKATH (OH KATH) ? -
  • "Keanness of Ear."
    • Temporarily improves hearing.
    • Temporarily improves obscurity.
VIEW (VI EW) ?
  • Must be unlocked repeatedly as the ability to cast it expires.
  • "Soap and Water." (Locked)
    • Can only be cast in the Soap Room.
    • Casting at LO (LO) level is sufficient.
    • Unlock at any fountain in the room.
OHIRROS (OH IR ROS) ?
  • Compass in hand.
